Why energy work, I hear you ask?

Put quite simply, it will help you live a more comfortable life.

One of my friends recently asked me to take a look for her at her infant son. He was teething and having some digestive issues with some dietary changes, as is normal for babies of his age, but the thing that worried her most was how unsettled he was in his inability to cope with all that was going on in his dear little life. He was not sleeping, unable to settle, and constantly distraught. Of course I agreed to do a session with him, which turned up a few emotions with several being related to parts of the body affected by the physical symptoms he was experiencing at the time. The poor little thing was just plain miserable with everything he had going on, and he didn’t know how to cope! A few days after completing the session I checked in with my friend on how her baby was doing, and she was relieved to report that the night after his session he finally managed to sleep and had been much more settled ever since. Of course, I cannot get rid of the teething issues, or the upset tummy, as these are natural processes that the body must go through on its own, however to be able to help ease his little mind in coping with the emotional turmoil related to the physical symptoms, is what makes this kind of work all worth it!

In late 2024 I helped a client who was having issues with self-sabotaging a good relationship after a long cycle of bad ones. The client was shocked that much of this linked back to emotions and circumstances that she recognised as being from her childhood, so heavily that it brought her to tears when she read my report. A few weeks later I touched bases with her and was thrilled to hear that her past was no longer controlling her life, and that her new relationship was flourishing with her new sense of peace.

This is what makes it all worth it to me.

When I first decided to reach out and take this gift I have discovered to the world, I did what all good businesses do and started a social media page. To spread the word, I decided to run a paid advertisement for the page. Well, that was a mistake. Immediately I was inundated with comments such as “SCAM”, “wtf is Energy Healing, seriously you’ll do anything to take people’s money” and “Really? Energy Healing? People will do anything for a grift these days!” I laughed, deleted those comments and blocked the users, and then ultimately decided to cancel the ad. See, I had done a little digging, and without fail those comments were made by people whose profiles told the world that they had a bone to pick with certain topics, that do not resonate with what I do. Which is fine, I do not expect everybody to believe in what I do, nor set any store by it if it does not align with their personal views. But by taking the time to constantly comment on my and other similar posts, they were sending it out to the universe (and social media algorithms) that this is the kind of content that they are willing to engage with, that they choose to spend their energy on, and all in a highly negative way! This is the very antithesis of the work I do in releasing negative energies from our lives. With this in mind, I very much decided that my marketing campaign would be to just do what I do, the very best that I can, and hope that my work attracts the kind of people that align with me, my goals, and what I am trying to achieve. As with all things, Energy is a tricky mistress, and it will resonate quite strongly with our own personal choices and assumptions. If you choose to let it help you to live a more comfortable and peaceful life, then it will.

I will leave you with one more story, of a dog called Mo. Mo was adopted by a neighbour of my grandparents, from a farmer who was going to have to put him down if the neighbour didn’t take him in. He was bred to work, but poor Mo was terrified of, quite literally, the entire world, and so was deemed useless on the farm. My grandparents reached out to me on the neighbour’s behalf, as they had become quite fond of Mo themselves and had heard some stories of other animals I had helped and wanted to know if I thought I could work my magic on Mo. Of course, I agreed to try.

The thing with animals who have severe emotional issues like this is that we rarely know the situations of their former lives. Almost always, these traumas come back to either their puppyhoods, inherited emotions from their parents, or absorbed from interactions with certain humans early on in their lives. Mo was no exception. Whatever he had been through, he was intensely traumatised. I did the session, sent my grandparents the report, and hoped that poor Mo would find some relief.

A couple of days later my grandparents sent a message that, miracle of miracles, Mo had started to come out of his world of hiding, and had actually approached them in their own backyard and initiated a lick of their hand. This one tiny gesture from an animal that was previously terrified of humans and everything the human world entailed, was absolutely huge. Although far from cured, with that one tiny lick, Mo now had hope.

And if that doesn’t make the case for joining me on this journey, I don’t know what does.
